Sonja Moen has been designing and writing quilt patterns since 2002. Her first pattern company, PrairieBlossom Designs, was launched in 2003. After a few years, she decided to design and write for another company (2005-2009). Although it was a great experience, she really missed her independence and decided to go back to designing for herself.    Sonja lives in Devils Lake, North Dakota with her husband, two boys, two cats and a Bichon Frise.
